split stay/ddp question

Hello all-
So here is my question. Group of 9 heading down to celebrate my dh's Big 50 in November. First night we are in 2 separate rooms at AKL. Both rooms booked on points, but by 2 different DVC members (myself and sis in law), the next day we move onto SSR into a GV for 3 more nights for all of us, booked solely on my DVC points. Reservations are not linked in any way. My question is can MS link all 3 reservations and we all do the DDP for the entire 4 nights? Were were just planning on "winging" it that first day/night at AKL and then doing DDP for the remaining 3 nights at SSR. And, if they can do that, can I check in online for the SSR portion and not worry about getting over to SSR early on check in day there? sorry if this is confusing!!

You can do the DDP for all the nights or since the reservations are not linked you could forgo the first stay and get DDP for when you are all together. But remember DDP is for all the nights booked, so for a 4 night stay you couldn't book DDP for only 3 nights.

I believe even if you link the reservations and do the dining plan all the nights the credits from the first night will be seperate from the last 3 nights so you will have to check into SSR before using any of the entilments from the last 3 days of the plan.
