Split Stay check in time

Hi all,

I just decided to extend our January DVC trip for one more day due to an United fare sale. We are going to stay at the BCV. But they were only able to find VWL for that one night. We will arrive around midnight. We have the deluxe dinning plan for the BCV reservation. We really cannot use that extra day just for the night since our return flight is 5am in the morning.

My question is that when we can check in and start to use the dinning credit? Do we have to wait until 4pm?

No, you can check in as soon as you can get there in the morning, and your dining credits can be used that day. You might not get into your room until after 4 though.

I assume you're asking because you won't have a car.

I also assume you'll have luggage.

If you want to keep your luggage with you, then it's probably best to take a taxi.

Otherwise, you could have bell services deliver your luggage to BCV. Then, your party can use Disney transportation, take the boat from VWL over to Magic Kingdom, and there catch a bus to BCV.

Optionally, take a bus from VWL to DD, and there catch the bus to BCV.

There are no busses that travel directly between resorts. Basically to get from one resort to another, you take a bus (or other transportation where available) to one of the parks, or DD, and then catch another bus to the secondary resort.

There are other ways too, but this will get you started.
