Split stay AKV/Poly

Hi, so we are new DVC members just very recently. We have not been to any of the deluxe resorts in the past. For our first stay we will be going to WDW from Sept 1-10. Family of 5 with 3 kids under 10. We would like to do a split stay to be able to see 2 resorts. Kids really want SV at AKL as we have never stayed there. So I'm thinking 5nights there and 4 nights in a studio at Poly (not sure about standard or lake view). If we act quickly availability shouldn't be too much of an issue.

We will be visiting TL & BB and AK. Thinking about adding one day at MK as well. What do you think?

Sounds like a good plan. I would go with standard view at Poly.

I'm currently doing the same thing- at AKV now and spent a few nights at Poly beforehand. Loved the Poly but enjoying the tranquility of AKV- since it's so large it feels far less crowded, especially the pool areas. Recommend! I would stick with standard view at the Poly, you can always watch the fireworks from the beach.

This is our most frequent split stay combo. The peaceful atmosphere at AKV is the perfect environment to combine with the hustle and bustle of Poly. You get to experience both.
