Split stay 9 day hopper tickets

Hello,
I am planning a split stay with 7 nights at one resort then switching for the last two nights to another. I have booked room only at both so far. I am purchasing 9 day hopper passes from Disney. So do I attach them to the first reservation? Also can I book all 9 days of fastpasses? Or is it split also? Thx

You don’t “attach” separately purchased tickets to a room only reservation, they just “exist” in conjunction with each other (I’m assuming for these purposes the tickets are assigned to the same people/profiles that are on the resort reservation).

Assuming both stays are onsite Disney resort stays, you should be able to book FPs covering both stays starting 60 days from check in from stay #1. There have been a few recent reports on the theme parks board of the continuing split stay FP benefit not working (something that has happened at times in the past) so I’m not totally sure what’s up, but it ‘should’ work under normal circumstances.

We had it occur that we could do fastpasses for the days of the first part of the stay and then had to go in again 60 days from the second part of the stay.

Was this over a 10 day stay? We usually go for 2 weeks, (not split) and can make 10 days of FP, but then have to wait to make the 11th day -14th FPs for the 60 days from 11th day.

No , it’s a 8 night 9 day (split 6 nights/2nights).

So I bought a 6 night stay at YC with a 9 day hopper pass . Then on a separate transaction I purchased a 2 night room only at BC to follow for a split stay . So one is a vacation package. The second reservation is a room only . Hopefully I can book all my fastpasses from first stay

No it was a nine day total stay. Usually we go for longer stays coming from Canada, but this was a "short one for us. Was last fall.

Then must have had to do with the separate reservations. My last split stay was in 2013 when they first started rolling out FP+ only at select resorts. So this is only my guess.
We’re from Canada too, BC.
