Split stay 15 day trip where to end trip??

OK this is what I have so far and now I need to figure out where I want to end the trip.

It will be my husband and I and our 8 kids. They will be 13,12,11,9,7,6,6, and 5 when we travel. We aren't bringing any help this trip.

We are planning on going October 10-25 or 26??

We have booked BWV Oct 10-14 and then move to AKV for 6 nights using our ClubIntrawest Points and then will add on a few more night there I think. Then the last 4 nights I was thinking the kids would love to end with BLT MK view in a 2 bedroom and a studio then stay at the OKW in a GV?? What do you think?? I just want them to end on a good note.

I know this is going to sound shallow but we did VGC in May and we went from the GV for 3 nights to 2 2 bedrooms and had grandparents join us and that was so hard going to a smaller room but we had a view of WOC so it was awesome for that. Then we took them to Legoland and all the San Diego sites and we stayed at a HGVC resort by Legoland and it was way lower class then then DVC and my kids were really disappointed. It was no comparison even though it had an oceanview. It was old and run down and I'm afraid from what I've read on here that's how OKW is going to feel for us??

Do you already have the GV at OKW? If not, I'm not so sure you would even get it this late. Same with the BLT MK view. They both go rather quickly.

If you're concerned go with 1 bedroom and/or 2 bedroom villas at OKW; these villa's interiors have been refurbished in past couple of months. I can't say that I recall any recent complaints about the condition of OKW Grand Villas so I think things are fine with them. That said, Grand Villas book up quickly; it is not easy to get them unless booking during the owner's priority booking window (11 mos thru 7mos+1day before check in date wanted) so at this point it may not even be possible to reserve for dates you are looking at.

I called today and the GV wasn't available until tomorrow and granted I know it could be gone by the time I call at 9am but I'm trying to figure out our options. Would we rather all be together in a GV at OKW or would we rather try and split up and see if we can get a MK view at BLT to see fireworks from our room and they love watching the monorail!

So if I find alot of pixie dust tomorrow I'm wondering what you all think would be the best place to finish our stay??

It will be much easier getting one villa hard to get villa than two hard to get villas.

Well we decided to do BLT and got a MK view for one of the rooms and the other room we got Lakeview so we are happy and I think it will end the trip on a high note!

So we will have 4 nights at BWV garden view, 8 nights at AKV in Kidani and then 3 nights at BLT. It will be one magical trip with I'm sure a meltdown or two but hopefully with a longer trip we will get enough downtime and sleep.

Now to plan what we will be doing each day and eating and where we will be going! While we are at Animal Kingdom we will do some of the activities outside of Disney. They want to do the Kennedy Space Center and Discovery Cove which will mean a day at Sea World.

Now I don't have to get up at 6am anymore! I'm not a morning person so this has been hard but I wanted to give myself the best chance.
