We want to get DDP for our 4 nights at BLT in February but this stay is 2 nights on one reservation and 2 nights on another reservation because we had to use 2 different contracts to have enough points for this part of our trip. The reservations are linked and we won't have to switch rooms, BUT will the DDP credits be lumped together to use over 5 days? Unless things have changed in the last few years, they are not. We would have to use 2 days credits over the first 3 days with the last day overlapping with first day of next 2 nights credits. Is this correct?
If so, I guess it won't work for us because the only reason DDP costs less than our TIW discount in this case is our Chef Mickey's first night and CRT second night...but we couldn't do that since we'll only have 2 TS to access at that point.
Hmm... maybe it will make sense to get the DXDDP for 2 nights only then and use them over the first three days. We do have another TS meal planned for day 3.
Please confirm my thinking on the regular DDP is correct or not!
Thanks!

No they will not be pooled together. You still have 2 separate reservations. You cannot combine one credit from reservation #1 with one credit from reservation #2 to pay for a 2 credit meal. What you can do is use the 2 leftover credits for one person to eat at CRT and pay for the other person, or use 2 credits from the second reservation for the other person.

You can also switch that first reservation to deluxe dining which means you will have 6 credits to use before midnight on the day you switch resorts. You'd have to do the math to see if it will work for you though.

Thanks! That's what I thought. I do think it will make sense to just do DxDDP for the 2 days and nothing for the rest of the stay. It won't be cheaper but it will allow us to upgrade our other dining plans at an overall savings.
