Split party ADRs on DDP?

We are a party of 4, but may not always want to eat as a group. Can I book 2 ADRs on the same day for say dinner, with 2 people on each?

ie. Can 2 of us eat dinner at Le Cellier at 8pm while the other 2 eat dinner at the same time in a different restaurant.

Is this allowed or is it classed as double booking?

I did it last year, but we didn't have different restaurants.

I would book 2 tables if we couldn't get all six of us together.

Book the second reservation under a different name.

Not a problem at all. We have done that quite a few times. Teens went their favorite restaurants while us, the adults, ate at mostly signatures.
