I heard a rumor that there was no longer Splenda on site. :sad2:Please tell me this isn't true. I guess if it is I will have to carry my own. :(
Does anyone know? Thank you!

Disney has gone to a generic brand of Splenda (Nutra Sweet). However, I have seen Splenda in the non-Disney owned restaurants. If you must have Splenda I would bring your own.

Nutrasweet is not generic Splenda. Nutrasweet is aspartame. Splenda is sucralose. They are two completely different sweeteners.

Nutrasweet yellow is sucralose. just a different brand. I've used it locally, and it's fine.

I'm glad to know that. I'm allergic to Splenda. Now I'll just avoid anything that has Nutrasweet in it, too - just in case.

Just so you know, the package of sucralose (in Nutrasweet, anyway) is always yellow. You can also check the label on the package . . . it will either say "aspartame" or "sucralose" (or whatever the other one is).

We were just there and then was no Splenda "brand" any where that I could find. :confused3

When we went last month I was under the impression that Splenda was every where. I almost cried when I got my first pkg of "Splenda" and it was NutraSweet. =(
There were a few restraunts that had splenda, Yak&Yetti, Earl Of Sandwich and the Norway Princess Meal had it. Those are the first that came to my mind as to having actual Splenda.

Calm down, I saw splenda everywhere it seemed! It was at the GF and YC where we stayed. I know for sure that it was at Cape Mays and Beaches and cream, but either way, you could not pay me to touch that thing (splenda) with a 10 foot pole. I take sugar any day! :rotfl: My husband asked for the "iced tea" at Beaches and creams, and asked for it to be sweet, the lady told him she would bring him some sweetener, he seemed confused and just flabbergasted at the same time. I told him that WDW does not have "sweet tea" just that lands stuff or unsweetened, he thought that was crazy and ordered a coke instead:lmao:
