there was none to be found on my trip. All the resorts and TS and CS restaurants had yellow packets but it was EQUAL... I opted out of that and used half of a packet of sugar.
For those who need it, I suggest that you bring some packets of your own from home....

The only place we've seen real actual Splenda has been in our room at POR.

Thanks for the update. That is really important information for our family. My husband is diabetic and Splenda is his sweetener of choice.

We used to pack our own, but haven't had to since WDW has had it available for several years now.

I'll Splenda to our packing list.

I could only find Equal at the foodcourts last year. I would take my own if I were you. There is nothing worse than really wanting a cup of coffee and not getting it the way you like it. ;)

We too just returned and they now use only generic sweetners. They are white, pink, blue, and yellow. Each corresponds with the name brand. I used the yellow and it was the same as splenda. It's the same as if I buy splenda in the yellow generic packages at the grocery store. I would suggest you throw a few in your bag. Some locations still had the name brands while others did not. I'm assuming as those others run out, eventually all will only have the generic version of your favorite sweetner.

Hmmm, generic .... Sometimes generic brands of whatever it is get it right, and other times you sit and wonder what in the world the connection is between what you have and what you thought you were getting!

The Yellow packet was listed as Equal and I always thought that was disgusting.....When I was diagnosed with type 2, the diabetic educators recommended Splenda and I have been using it since....The others taste funny to me....So I used a half of a pkt of sugar and it was enough .....We got home last night and I had a cup of tea with my splenda and was very happy......:thumbsup2

I didn't find splenda brand all over but did at some, I don't remember because the generic yellow was just like splenda, same ingredients and same taste, so it was just as good. I don't like equal and I would know the difference in the taste of my tea if it was equal.

maybe the brand was equal? but it tasted just like splenda since I don't think they have the rights to only make it now.

I agree. The color of the packs are matched up with the name brand. I used the "yellow" pack and it tasted exactly like my splenda. I don't like the blue or pink so would've known if it was different. No difference for me.

I have done an ingredients-listing comparison. (I pulled packets at the Captain's Grill" and compared them at home with brand-name packets.)

The "NutraSweet Yellow" is exactly the same as Splenda.

The "NutraSweet" in the blue packet is the same ingredients as Equal.
