Splash pools

Ok so a lot of the offsite accomodations either have a pool or "splash pool". Im about to sign my agreement at Paradise palms. It is $126 to heat the pool for 6 days.

The idea of the splash pool doesn't make sense to me. Maybe its ok for small kids, but I don't get it??


Maybe I will change mind when I see it. But, it looks useless to me. Is it like having a hot tub without the bubbles ?I'm trying to figure out if I should bother heating it?

For those with the splash pools...what did u think of them?

We've had splash pools at Windsor Hills that were 12ft x 12ft and thought it was great. It's right out your back door and very convenient when you don't want to lug everything to the main pool especially after long days in the park. Your pool is open whenever you want to go in. If you're into swimming laps then no you can't do that but you can play around, float and relax. The splash pools at Paradise Palms are a little bigger I think and L shaped.

I am also quoting a townhome at Paradise Palms but I am getting a lower rate per day for pool heat.

Anyway, as the previous poster said, you would not be able to swimming but it should be fun nonetheless.

I'm here now..I got to check out so.e splash pools. For my family...it would have been disappointing. Its what I thought...not much you can do but stand and splash. I think it would be great for really young kids. But mine are 16; 11 & 9. Plus we have our own pool. So for kids who aren't in pools often ..I think they would enjoy it.

We were underwhelmed with the splash pool we had at Windsor Hills. It just felt kind of warm and stagnant so we didn't really use it. It had been the reason I chose a townhome over a condo, but we wouldn't do it again.
