Do you think SM will see longer standby times than normal once it's back open? Trying to decide if I should fast pass it. I'm going mid December.

We have a FP for the first day it re-opens. I figure it will be ridiculous without FP.

Maybe a little bit longer wait times right after it opens, but after a couple days I wouldn't think so

we always fastpass SM. if we catch a short standby time, we just ride it again :) . It was a popular ride before refurb, and because of the time it has taken, i would think the lines could be a bit long, at least shortly after it reopens.

We have it "scheduled" for the 9 o'clock hour on the day it opens (7 am emh). I'm hoping it won't be crazy as we are doing it standby. There's time we could do it later if it's too crazy, but I hope it's not.

It does depend on the weather - really hot and you are going to get more people hopping on it, but in general splash Mt is one ride that is usually a good idea to get a FP, unless you are hitting it first thing in the morning after rope drop

It's also closing again in Jan/early Feb so people might be trying to squeeze it in before it's closed again.
