My 3 year old daughter loves this ride and we go on it often. Sidenote - She dressed as Alice in Wonderland yesterday and got a round of applause from people in line for making the height requirement
. She was so excited! No trip to Disneyland is ever the same. Kind of amazing how many special moments like this we've had. Anyway...
I've noticed some minor lighting problems on this ride recently.
1) After the first drop, you see a section of Brer Rabbit and a collection of giant birds singing. One of the pairs of birds are not lit. They have not been lit for quite some time now.
2) The first time you see Brer Fox where he is holding the rope keeping Brer Bear out of the water, he has not been lit properly until recently.
3) Finally, the scene before the big drop where Brer Rabbit is tangled up in bee hives, he is not lit up and has not been lit well for quite some time.
I'm not sure what is going on here, but these lighting problems have been going on now for a few months and I've been kind of wondering if this is something I'm imagining or not.
Since I go on this ride often, a couple more questions I thought I'd throw out there since I've been wondering about them for awhile.
1) The first time you see Brer Rabbit, he is packing up to leave his home. The eyes don't seem to look right on this animatronic. They almost look like actual buttons rather than lively looking eyes. Not sure what is going on here and why they look like that.
2) When the mother animals are warning their respective children about the dangers of the laughing place, why are the three little mice smiling? This is supposed to be a serious scene and the ear-to-ear-smiling mice are kinda strange.
