Spirograph with light

Had to try! I'm home recovering from surgery, and I was having camera withdrawals. I could do this mostly on my own with a bit of help from DH (he's such a good sport.)

A little blurry, but I still liked it...

I think I will try that this weekend. Surgery stinks. Hope you are getting better. I had knee surgery at the start of the summer. I was stuck doing bird photography from my deck for most of the summer.

I'm very thankful not to have to resort to bird photography.

So I wasn't entirely happy with my above results, so I gave it another go. MUCH happier with these:

Bird photograpy was almost as painful as the surgery. I only do it when I am totally bored.

The new ones are very good. What did you do differently?

On the original set that were colored I covered the flashlight with colored tissue paper, and I think that dimmed the light too much for my camera to focus properly. Also, I changed the aperture setting to F18 from F22. Not sure if that had anything to do with anything, but on my first tries the best focused ones were at the F18 setting. And I added color in Photoshop.
