Spirit of aloha show in august?

How hot is the open air theatre in August? Should I pass on this? Wanted to try something new. Haven't been to this luau in decades. Was bringing my 3 and 5 year olds.

We did SOA last August and picked the later seating because I was afraid of the heat too. I'm glad we did. IMO, I enjoyed the evening version of the show as it was easier to see the flames and stage lighting shows up better than it does in the daylight. My kids are much older so they can easily wait a little longer for dinner. Early sittings sometimes work best for the younger ones though... Have a fun time whatever you decide.
