Hi everyone!

I was debating on booking the Luau but then saw how expensive it was. We have eaten at Ohana's in the past and my kids LOVE IT! Is it worth the extra $$ to go to the luau?

I haven't been but my wife has and she said it was a great time. Whether its worth it or not is really hard to say. Its kind of like the Pirate and Princess party- is it worth it, probably not. Do we go- yup and we have a blast!

Remember you are paying for the show at Spirit of Aloha. I think that is the big difference you should decide. If you just want to eat some pretty good food in nice Polynesian atmosphere O'hana's is fine, even great view. We did a late reservation, and watched the fireworks at MK!

But we have done Spirit of Aloha for the show. I think it is just comparing a dinner show to a restaurant.

After doing a Luau in Hawaii, I can't do one at Disney, not the same thing, but we do stay at POLY. We enjoy Ohana and would rather go there!

The luau show is wonderful, but the food there is "iffy" in our opinion. On the other hand, we love the food at 'Ohanas, and as you know it's fun for families. I'd vote for saving that TS credit!

I've never been to Ohana but I just wanted to say that the Luau is awesome. The show is good, not the best, but the food was fantastic!

yuk, not my exp at all

We've been to both and I think the show is definitely worth it. We thought the food was very good and the show was a great experience. That said, I do think it's overpriced.:rolleyes1
