My family has never been to this show. Can someone please fill me in on everything they know about it?

We did it a few years ago. You go to your table and food is served family style, in bowls and things that you scoop onto your plate. We enjoyed the food.

The show has a very cheesy story to it. Poor acting. However, we enjoyed the dancing portions of it. They have various hula type dances and at the end is the fire hula stuff with the men.

It was enjoyable, but not something we'd do again, probably.

I agree we did this this past May and said once was enough. We didn't care for the show except for he fire thrower....he was awesome and the highlight of the show. The food was just Okay IMHO. However, if you have never done it before, do it....everything is worth doing at least once. :goodvibes

Same opinion here very cheesey, not worth the cost if you asked me. Hoop dee do show is much better:thumbsup2

We did this last year too.

I didn't care for the food. DS loved it because the CM just kept bringing more food. The show was okay. DD got up and did the hula. I was disappointed and so was DH. However, you might like it. I'm glad that we saw it, but won't go back.

We went last September. We purchased the Level 1 seating. They'll seat you in your level in the order you get there (at least that's what we were told). Got there early (maybe an hour or so), check in, get your leis and your picture taken. There's a nice big area to hang out until it's time to be seated. There's also a bar available for drink purchases. We were seated on the ground level. Our server was great and very attentive. The food was okay, DF loved it. I did love the salad and bread! Yum!
The show is just as everyone else has said. Cheese-fest. The fire guy was the best and for us, totally worth the price. He was amazing and very entertaining.

I would also agree, it's worth doing once especially if you're staying at Poly. We may do it again one day but it's nothing I'm racing to do right now.
