I read somewhere that it cancels if the temp hits 40 or below. I'm going next week and I think this may happen. My question is, when do they cancel and what would be our options?? We are using dining credits category 2. Thanks!!

My question is, when do they cancel and what would be our options??
. . . they try to wait until 1/2-hr before the performance
. . . the earliest they cancel is 4:00pm
. . . if canceled, your money or DDP credits are returned in the form paid
. . . you are then on your own to try to find dinner
. . . and, no, they do not make alternate ADR's for you
. . . you must call WDW-DINE to try to find an eatery
. . . or go to a QS eatery if all TS are full

Just a heads up. We were at DW last January and had the early reservation for the Spirit of Aloha show. The weather was border-line for cancelleation. Like most, we secured our reservation with a credit card. The afternon of the event, we went to the concierge desk at CB resort to pick up our tickets and verify that the show was scheduled. They explained that all shows were cancelled becasue of the cold weather. We asked them to verify and they said, no need, all shows were cancelled. Being on the disney dining plan, we scrambled to find another 2 credit reservation without much success. We decided to drive over to the Poly resort and verify from the SOA show themselves. They explained that only the last show was cancelled. Good thing we checked directly with them. Would have been a pain trying to get my CC credited back.

They cancel within an hour of the performance sometimes. You would then have to come up with some other way to use your dining credits. This happened to some of my friends once and they said everyone ran for 'Ohana and Kona. That cancellation was due to a rainstorm. You would probably get more notice regarding cancellation for cold as they can see what the forecast is.
