Has anyone joined this? Is it worth it? All of their fees (seats, luggage) really add up.

We actually flew first time last Sep with Spirit Air. At the time, we did sign up for $9 club b/c we were saving over $250 with the club price. There's little discount on bags with the club (as long as you purchase before leaving). The savings more than paid for the club membership price. :thumbsup2

We didn't reserve our seats and you don't pay if you don't reserve. They assign your seats when you check in at the airport. On the way, the plane was maybe 10%full so they told us we could seat where we want. On the way back, was full plane, but we got assigned to pretty good seat, aisle 11, I think.
For luggage, we each had backpack/handbag and checked-in two bags. I wish they don't charge so much but it's with most airlines today.
They tend to go lower prices as you get closer to travelling date (1~1.5months). I was hoping to take advantage of it for this year as well but haven't seen anything spectacular for my trip yet. :confused3
