Spirit $9 fare club?

Is this worth it? I can't tell on their site where they have offered flights to/from and how much without logging in. I was just wondering if you ever actually find $9 fares and for how many people you can get seats for? Is it just a couple seats on certain flights? Also, can 1 family member join and get seats for the whole family or does each person have to join?

Thanks! I keep seeing all these good travel deals, except for the airfare part to get there!

I have the $9 fare club and in October, we were able to fly (a family of 4) for $16 each way. As long as your dates are flexible when the fares are announced and sent by email, there are really great deals to be had. We were able to use it for the whole family but when it happens, jump on it because they do go fast. I'm sure it's limited somehow but we used it for 4. Good luck.

Wow, that's great! Did you fly out of Detroit? That's where we'd be going from.

Yep we flew out of DTW. I seriously get email sales four or more days per week for certain days coming up. Last weeks had some February and March I believe. They don't usually go too far ahead.
