Spirit $34 sale today only to Orlando (MPLS etc) for Sep/Oct/Nov fyi.

Click on "more information", scroll down and it says MPLS- to MCO starts 9/22.

I realize its Spirit, but anyway the MPLS to MCO comes up $131 each way, not $34 and its says valid from 9/22 through mid Nov for MPLS TO MCO. Tried on tues/wed/sat's as noted.

It does come up in Mid Nov, but why not just say "valid mid Nov"?

Or does anyone think there is a code or something?

Heck I would hit F&W for a weekend (well Wed to Sat) for that price. Or MNSSHP.

We take advantage of these often. However, for this special they aren't offering any flights from Detroit to Orlando.. We are looking at taking a last minute trip to Vero via Ft. Lauderdale, though.

I long ago decided that if the only airline l could afford to fly was Spirit I was staying home!

Be aware that Spirit strands passengers more than other airlines. It would suck to have a flight get cancelled, and then be told they'll get you out in 4 days (making you miss a big chunk of vacation time). They're the worst.

I'd rather walk to Disney Backwards on glass from PA then fly on Spirit.

We fly Spirit all the time to Disney...it's actually our Disney airline. They fly out of AC and we've yet to have an issue....knock on wood. We have gotten our last 2 trips....and our next 2 at $90 a person round trip. Can't beat that. We have 4 bags that fit the "free bag" dimensions and usually fit it all without paying for any bag. However, After March 2016.....their "free" bag size is changing. Jerks. They will go to the same as Frontier Airlines. I'd choose Spirit over Frontier anyday. But Atlantic City, spirit is pretty much the only airline flying in and out of there, so delays are only for Snow storms really from there.
