Ok this is strange. This AM on here I responded to the drunk driving post about a friend of mine that was killed by a drunk driver in high school.

I get into my car and the radio isn't on one of my preset stations- one of my kids could have done that so not so strange.

But the song that came on. Follow You by Genesis- freaked me out.
My friend that was killed loved that song. We played it at her memorial. It just was so her.

It's not a song I hear anymore. I don't listen to the radio very often. Just seemed like a sign to me this morning. Like Jane's way of letting me know she knew I was thinking of her.

Maybe not. But I like to think it was.

I'd like to think that of course it was your friend saying hello.

My sister lives in my grandfather's house. My dad now owns it. Whenever she's had a really bad day at work or has difficulty in life, she can smell grandpa's aftershave in either his bedroom or the living room in front of where his TV used to be. (Grandpa was addicted to Soap Operas.)

Ooops, forgot the new rule!

I totally agree with your theory. I think it was Jane's way of saying hi and letting you know she is OK.

New rule? What's the new rule? I wasn't paying attention in class I guess.

It's the new "old" rule....the second poster on a thread has to quote the OP. This way, if the OP deletes the original post, everyone else still knows what the thread was originally about. (see my scrolly)

I'd also like to think that it was your friend saying "Hi!"

My grandmother lived with us when we were young. After she passed, my sisters and I could often "see" a light shining under her bedroom door, even though we knew no one was in there. She was a wonderful seamstress and often was in her room sewing late into the morning hours. If we woke in the middle of the night, we would often "hear" her sewing machine going, just as if she were still with us. We were young and she was like a second mother to us. I'd like to think that she was letting us know that everything was just as it should be and that we would be fine. As we got older, we didn't "see" or "hear" her as frequently as when we were young.

I definitely think it was a poke from your friend, saying "Hey, think about me."

I bought a Saturn Vue a few years ago. While at the dealer getting the oil changed, I decided to ask what day my Vue came off the assembly line. It's something special about Saturns, but they can tell you your car's birthday. (I don't know if they still do.)

Anyway, my car was born on what would have been my best friend since birth's 40th birthday. She had died at age 32 in a horrible car wreck. When we were kids, we always planned that when we got old, like 40 or something, we'd live right next to each other.

When I was shopping for the Vue, I looked at three different models but liked this one best, even though it was just about identical except for color, to the other two.

And by friends since birth, I mean that literally. My mom wasn't planning on having a 4th child (me). She got pregnant with me right about the time my BF and her twin brother were born. BF was 9 1/2 months older than me. My uncle was married to her aunt, and BF lived 1 1/2 miles from me. We were inseparable.
