Spin-off of tat thread: piercings other than ears

So when you took your lobe piercings out what happened? Did they heal or did you have to have them fixed surgically? I've always wondered about that. I tried to gauge my ears from 16 to 14 and OMG it hurt so bad.....LOL

My lobes used to be stretched to 1/2" and I had to downsize them. They were just getting irritated a lot and I couldn't stand it anymore. I took them out and they shrank down to a 4g naturally, which is perfect. I actually find that there is just as much beautiful jewelry for stretched ears as there is for "normal" ones now. But maybe I just see more of it because a friend of mine owns an upscale body piercing shop.

I have two holes in one ear, three in the other.

I have considered having cartilage done but I am not sure how it would go over at the office.

I find some piercings to be nice looking. My step daughter has her nose and eyebrow pierced and they look nice. She has her bellybutton pierced as well but has allowed that to close up because she said that since she has gained weight it just didn't look good. Her tongue is pierced as well - I'm not too crazy about that.

She and her husband own and operate a tattoo and body piercing shop. They both have multiple tattoos to go with their piercings. My daughter just went for her first tattoo this week - it is a good sized one on her ankle. She has her cartilage pierced and is considering her eyebrow.

My boyfriends owns a tattoo and piercing shop. I have my tragus done, and 4 tattoos. I will be getting my 5th one soon.

He has his lip, tragus, tongue, eyebrow, and nipples pierced plus his ears are gauged. I don't judge either way, but i think he's hot just the way he is.
