Spiderman 3 or Pirates of The Carribean Suitable for 7 Yr Old?

We were planning to take my dd to see Shrek 3 next week, but its not released until June. I was convinced it was already out. Casey has already seen Meet The Robinsons and Mr Bean. I dont know what else to take Casey to see and watch. Casey loves Spiderman 1 and 2, but also Pirates. I have not let her see Pirates 2 I was not sure if it would scare her or not. She really wants to go to the cinema next week.

Has anyone seen either. It has a 12a, which tells me its there for a reason. I would hate to take her there and it scares her.

Any suggestions?

We have decided we will take Casey ice skating. Just in case it scares her.

I think maybe at 7 the storylines may be a little difficult to understand. Ashley (11) found the storyline of Spiderman 3 hard but loved the action. I know I can't compare him to your daughter as he's got language problems, but in comparison age wise he's probably got the understanding of a child your daughters age. Kind of contradicted myself there but I think you may know what I mean!!!!! Pirates he doesn't like at all, except again for the action scenes. I think maybe ice skating is the better option. Have fun.
