Whohoo.... stopped in last night (got out for $100 with the Premier Annual Pass Discount)... Carring the little packs around with me and order food from the menu based on how I can flovor them :rotfl2:

Thanks for the heads up on that one! :thumbsup2

I'm picturing you breaking out the packet of salt and sprinkling your menu items, now.

I can't wait to see this place either! We leave in 11 days and it is def at the top of the list as a must-see! The pics look great. I can't even imagine how amazing it must smell in there. Hope I can control myself LOL :cool1:

It really was difficult narrowing down what to get. You can't use everything at once and spices lose potency after time, but so far the truffled salt is AMAZING! So is Vic's Garlic blend. I'm trying to figure out how to use the onion sugar- other than licking my finger and shoving it in the baggie...:rotfl2:

You're lucky you got to use your AP discount...I was told the AP wasn't accepted on the Tea and Spice items. I only spent $35...so I guess I did ok. Had my first cup of the apple cranberry tea blend tonight...even my non-tea drinking husband said it was wonderful. Here's hoping the rest of what I bought is as good!

We plan on heading to DTD after we see Osborne on our last night. This is definitely on our shopping list. How much are the individual packets of the salts and sugars? Just estimates, thanks.

Kim

I hope to drop by DTD/Spice Exchange on the way home from our non-2.0 cruise. I have hopes to buy spices at the Grand Caymans stop. We usually grab some teas from the Tea Caddy, but we might have to that store due to time constraints (I might do a quick last minute Christmas Eve shop for hubby's gift).

Most are $4.89. The truffled salt is $6.50ish.

I got a 10% AP discount as well.

The Castmember even mentioned that I wouldnt get my discount if I shopped in their store in Winter Park.

Weird.

We have the PAP which is normally 20% but they only do the 10% discount on the Spice Exchange items. But I can see an addiction quickly forming to the truffled salt.:worship:

I was just about to post about this. We've been to the store in St. Augustine and bought some stuff from them and enjoyed it. Didn't know they were a chain. When we were in the store in DTD last week we said, "This is the same place as in St. Augustine!" Sure enough. Chain store, but they evidently mix a lot of things in house to keep it fresh. We've tried a few things and found it quite nice.
