I've been on quite a spending spree this week. On Tuesday I bought the Dreams Come True cartridge for $50 at ACM. Then yesterday (hours before I saw the creativexpress sale) I picked up Base Camp at Walmart for $45. THEN, I read about the Cricut cart sale and purchased FOUR MORE CARTS TODAY:rotfl2: !

I've been in a real scrapping slump, but spending all this money seems to have gotten the creative juices flowing again.....either that, or I realized I better start producing something to show for all the $$$$:rotfl: . I put the kids on the bus this morning and headed to my scrapping table. I did two large border pieces using the Dreams Come True cart, one for our Aladdin/Jasmine page and one for our Belle page. I also made embellishments for the journaling boxes, which I'd never done before and found the inspiration for by looking at all the cool swap items you all do:) . The pages are almost done...I just can't glue any of it down until the Stickled parts dry. I'll take photos and try to post them tomorrow when everything is dry.

You're SO right - for me just buying the Cricut sparked my creativity because I wanted to play with it. I think it's not so much to justify the cost as it is because new carts are FUN! Cricutting is fun!

Good for you! Besides being fun, I find my bug kicks my pages up a notch, so I'm motivated to use all those cartridges I bought! I had my own spending spree when I first got it. Luckily I can resist sales now because I think I own all the carts I want to have. Until the next batch comes along. ;)

When the 4 I ordered arrive, I'll have 13 cartridges. I *think* that will keep me going for a while:). Of course, I'll be making our ADRs in February. If they've come out with Pooh and Friends cartridges I'll have to pick it up to scrap our Crystal Palace lunch:):).

I love your borders!! They are beautiful!! I haven't tried the borders on the cartridges, and you have inspired me to do that!!

I so hope they come out with a Pooh and Friends Cricut cartridge! Just think of all of the stuff they could get on it! :)

I actually had a dream the other night that I was putting together an Eeyore paper piecing from a Cricut cartridge, so let's hope I see the future in my dreams! ;)

I absolutely LOVE those borders!!

I think if they were to come out with that I would HAVE to buy the big bug! I hope that :santa: Santa will be ncie to me this christmas ... or if he's not nice maybe the birthday fairy will sprinkle some PD on me and give it to me for my birthday (it's 12/26).

Hey Kim - ACM and Holyoke Mall must have been so happy to have seen you!!! It's been a few weeks since I made my way up there - just got back from WDW on Monday -took our GS and took too many pix - began scrapping them today at an 8 hr scrap at my CM consultant's, eight pages just of MGM. Our GS was selected for the Jedi training (which was the ultimate for him), so of course, we have many of just that.
Before we left, I bought the Mickey and Friends cart at ACM, and took the advice of others here and made autograph cards.
I love your pages. Thanks for sharing. Caroline

very cute pages, I haven't done the borders as of yet, but will be soon.
