How much spending money would you suggest bringing. We're going over new years have the dining plan, and are flying. We also plan on doing the castle for breakfast and dessert party for new years eve, so have those costs calculated already. There will be my husband and I and our 18 month old twins.

I always like to have enough "just in case" and usually plan on about $100 a day. You can do less of course and get more from an ATM when you need it. One thing though - the week between Christmas and New Year's is extremely crowded. Pushing a stroller for two 18 months old will be difficult and the long lines will be hard for them. Also planning for them to be in the park from castle breakfast through to the New Year's party might be pushing things. My daughter was great travelling at that age but that's a really long day, even if you plan afternoon breaks at the hotel. I don't know if you have work issues that necessitate traveling that week, I would suggest the earlier part of December. You'll still have all of the holiday cheer but with far fewer people. Have a great time whatever you decide.

Thanks. Yes we already booked and flight is non refundable, and also I am finishing my nursing up, so I have to go during break and that seems to be the best week for us. The castle breakfast we're doing on the 29th hopefully. They're fairly good babies so hopefully that week will be fine for them. And thanks for the idea on spending money. I already have 1250 saved, and was planning 2000, but at least knowing 1250 would be plenty takes the pressure off of having to put so much in each week.

It really depends. The dining plan won't cover alcohol, so if you have a drink with dinner or after the twins go to bed (the lounges will put it in a to go cup), that can add up quick. If you are a souvenir person, that can add up quick. Or you can bring enough to cover tips on the dining plan and be ok....you won't starve.

At that time of year, make sure to pack for any weather and bring everything you need. Budget busters are things like sweatshirts and rain jackets (but we thought it would be warm!), a swim suit cover up (I didn't think I'd need it, its December), and things like extra batteries, cold medicine and feminine products.
