Spending Bf's $$$

So, bf comes home last night and says that he was just asked to be the IT guy at work...so if anything happens to the computers he gets called in...even if it is to just flip a switch to make it all better...its easy overtime...I told him he could take it and it would get us closer to out next dcl cruise! He just looked at me silly when I stood their jumping up and down!!! I was very happy!

Then I called to appologize...I didnt mean to spend his money before he even made any!!!

Can I help that I am determined to put a down payment on a 7 day when the 2006 sailings come out...ok so its a bad addiction-it could be worse!

I was in the same boat! It took me 3 years to finally send in our deposit. Since I am the one making all the plans, once I made the deposit DH-2-be said "So I guess that once you make the deposit it's gone?".
Now I know that he meant that once I paid it that there was no refund, but it took three years. I wasn't about to tell hime about the refund policy or the travel insurance. So I didn't lie I just didn't answer his question. Instead I asked him how he felt about and open air massage on CC!

Ohhh, I spent 15 years as an IT manager and you're right to be putting money down on a cruise. He's going to need it. The phone calls that I received to come in and "flip a switch" where very few compared to the ones that involved hours of late night troubleshooting. Seriously though, I loved my job and really enjoyed the challenge. I was on salary, but if he's on overtime, that's fantastic.

yeah I can see this IT thing being a pain in the ars. to say the least...but we will see what happens.
He's on overtime and any time he gets called he gets 4 hours right off the bat...which is nice...
I just want to go on another cruise!
