I have been some bonus points given at Shopper's Drug mart of certain weeks, where they will have if you spend X amount of points you get a bonus # of points. I would be like using if your using your Cash Airmiles to buy something and get X amount of Am.
I tend to use shopper's on their bonus weekend Saturday/Sunday when you spend 50.00 you get 20X the points. You get the most bang for your buck at Shopper's when collecting points, as you get points for each item you buy vs the targeted ones you get when shopping at Superstore, No frills or any other place that uses the pc card. Using your card for gas as well is a good way to collect then points as well.
I am hording my points( which I will be cashing out over xmas food shopping ) But, instead of taking the " free " groceries, I will hit the bank on my way home or do a cash back option at the till, and put that money towards our trip fund to help offset some travel costs. The way I look at it, I would be buying those groceries anyways. I'm not going to buy things we don't need or use. I would rather use that money towards something fun for our family
