Spend $40.00 at resort gift shop and get...?

Last June when we were there the resort gift shops had a deal where you spend $40.00 and get a Disney Tote Bag for $10.00. Does anyone know if there currently is any deal going on this year at the gift shops? We will be at the WL from June 22 - June 30.

Yes, I noticed this offer when I made a purchase on May 20, 2007.

Yes, there are several offers like that going on right now. We were just there last week and they still had the tote bag offer. Also, if you spent $55, you could get a pin picture set for $15. In DTD, if you spent $55, you could get a throw for $10 and if you spent $75, you could get a Disney plate for $20. One thing that we learned this time was that if you spend the larger amount, you are entitled to both gifts if you choose. Hope this helps!

Don't get the throw. It is cheap as all get-out. $10 isn't a deal on that - that's about what it is worth.

Don't worry. They have institued the very annoying practice of offering these to everyone who qualifies. You can't spend the money and get a "Thank You" anymore. First you have to get a "Would you like to buy this, this or that?" I know the staff HAS to do it, but it gets annoying after a while and I just cut them off with, "No. I just want that stuff."

Does anyone have a picture of the throw or tote? I want to plan ahead.

Unfortunately I got suckered into the $5 picture frames last summer and still have five of them unopened.

We got the throw in Dec. It has great pictures of Mickey and Cinderella's castle. Unfortunately it keeps losing long threads and it can't be washed. I would not recommend buying it.

I don't know what I did with mine ( I bought the YOAMD tote, which I use) when I find it I will try to post a pic

It is plain canvas tote with navy blue trim on it

its heavy like the LL Bean Canvas bags and it has walt disney world on it and the castle......I got it for my daughter when we were there a year ago......and it is the same one I do believe.....good quality and heavy duty

We got about 4 of the tote bags last year.
Last month, we got some more...they are a little different this year, not the exact same tote as last year.

I just bought the pin set IMHO it is real cute, it is a framed picture of the castle and it has 4 pins on it, one of tinkerbelle, mickey, cinderella, and pluto, it is ready to hang with a wire attached to the back

I got the tote and filled it up with gifts from WDW for my dd who is away at College, she loved it!
