Speed of Park Transformation

Just watched a tour of HS decked out for Christmas. Wednesday and the lake was empty, the island was empty and just a few garlands appearing on lamp posts. Friday and the whole place was transformed with the lake re-filled and a massive Christmas Tree fully decorated and lit up on the island and Christmas decorations and merchandise everywhere. How big is the army that Disney brings in to perform such a speedy magical transformation? Has anyone seen the transformation process in action?
