Specifics for Log In Troubles

[Disney Dreams]

I have never been 1 to sit back and hope someone else does something.

In the interest of attempting find a commonality among the troubles many of us are having........

If you cannot sign in, please list below:
1. The last time you were on. (ex: 10am 5/5/08)
2. How long passed between when you signed off and attempted to sign in again. (ex: 2 hours)
3. If you can sign other characters on. (ex: yes)
4. If you have gone to disney.com to see if your information is current - what you discovered (ex: not there, banned, no clue what you mean, etc...)
5. If you are appearing on other people's friends lists. (ex: yes, no, idk)

I will summarize everyone's information here and on the next page. Hopefully someone on the VMK staff will see the issues are wide-spread (if they are), and look into working with the Disney team or whomever necessary for fixing whatever has happened.

can I throw something out there. NO accusations. Just something that crossed my mind.

Do all the people who are having trouble have many accounts they are using DMR codes on? Like as in, maybe they banned accounts from disney for abusing the DMR program?

I do have a DMR account, but I just logged into it perfectly fine..

I'm not sure how you abuse a program that makes you buy their product. I can't tell you how many movies I have bought, so how can you abuse that? and to answer your question, no - some of the DMR accounts I have still are working on vmk as well.

GREAT question. My husband's character has the same sign on as our DMR account. He can sign in VMK without any troubles. Would this be enough to discount the theory? (sincere question - no attitude meant at all)

well I meant 1 per customer like it says, but people make multiple accounts. But I think swimmingnemo's answer removes that possibility

ETA: and dreams does as well sorry, I was tryign to find the right way of saying it without making people mad at me

I'm not sure how you abuse a program that makes you buy their product. I can't tell you how many movies I have bought, so how can you abuse that? and to answer your question, no - some of the DMR accounts I have still are working on vmk as well.

2 accounts not working (my two main) can sign on other charachters
Interesting note: both accounts are over 2 years old

1st account:
2 days since logon attempt
says I am banned
2nd account:
last logon, maybe 11pm last night, no logons today

for these accounts, only 1 had input more inferno codes, the other had not put one in. Both addresses do have DMR accounts though, and I just cashed out some real good from both accounts.

no but, again LOL I am not totally innocent here either, I have 3 accounts (we are a family of 4) some people have done MUCH MUCH more than their household, and I dont care. I was just raising the possibility.

BUT... It seems to be disproved already.

actually, the rules state one account per household. But, I did some back checking, some of my DMR accounts are ok, some are not. My main accounts which i use for real stuff do not work, some of the VMK only DMR accounts do work just fine. Very very odd.

I hope this gets resolved soon for everyone! We had some problems with the Disney sites about a month ago. I don't know if it affected our VMK accounts, but DS account could log in to Disney.com and DD could not. Within 24 hours all was back to normal!

OT - I get so frustrated with the DMR one item per household for VMK items. Do they really think only one person per household plays VMK? All four of us play and this just bugs me. OK back to the problems at hand...
