I should be closing soon, and soon after that making my resie.

can we request a specific room/view at akv or any other resort for that matter?

Congrats.

If you're booked into a specific category (i.e. AKV Savanna View, BWV BoardWalk View), you should get that category. More specific requests are never guaranteed. Some members will tell you they've had great luck with requests being granted...others that they never receive their requests.

I wouldn't recommend asking for a specific room. If that room isn't available, they won't know where to put you.

More productive / reasonable requests are things like a specific floor, near some resort landmark (close to the pool, near the elevators) or perhaps a view request for resorts that don't have separate categories (SSR Downtown Disney view.)

You can put in a request, but there is no guarantee that the request will be honored. If you check-in early enough you may beable to pick a different room.
Booking category, i.e. Savannah view, Standard View, Value... is guaranteed... unless a maintainance issue forces a move Then there's also the no animals on the Sunset Savannah Jan-Mar 08 only, so some savannah view users will be notified and comped the difference to standard..
