I'm making a list of some special, often unknown, things to do while at Disney World. I know I've got to be missing TONS of ideas. Can you help add to my list? Here's what I've got so far...

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique/princess make-over
Harmony Barber Shop/first hair cut
find Hidden Mickey's
specialty cruises to view fireworks
ticketed parties like MNSSHP and MVMCP
kid's pirate cruises
wake tink
Fort Wilderness Campfire Sing-Alongs
Victoria and Albert's
The Kitchen Sink at Beachs and Cream

What you some others along these lines?

As long as you're at Ft Wilderness have lunch at Trails End, then go over to the petting zoo - Take the kids on a Pony Ride. We have to WDW 25 times and just found the petting zoo last month... Took DGrD on the pony ride - only $2.00 :cool1: Ditto on the haircuts at MK - but not just 1st haircut - everyone in the family - then get some Pixie Dust :wizard:

Segway Tour. We're doing our first next March.
Cirque du Soleil
Disney Quest (Better hurry!)
The Adventurer's Club (Love it)

Illuminations Cruise. We did one in 1999 during which Cruise Capt. Derrell took us through the waterway system and my wife became interested in the Swan & Dolphin. We've stayed at one or another ever since with BWV to come on 2007.

We've yet to do:

Any Dinner Show
Any 'Behind the Scenes' tour
Any Water Park
The Sports Complex
Rent a Water Sprite (Although my son and his GF did)

I'm probably missing a lot.

Why did you say "Better Hurry" to Disney Quest? :confused3

My understanding is that it's closing.

Hayrides at FW, carriage rides at FW, the afternoon tea at the gardenview lounge at the GF, miniature golf, and more! Maggie

Anyone else hear this? I'm looking forward to trying this on our next trip!

fantasmic
if they like stitch you can do the ohana breakfast (its really good all the waffles you can eat)

From what I have heard about the DQ thing, Disney has not announced its closing and a lot of the talk about that is rumor. Many people say it is vrey crowded and popular. On the other hand, lots of people also say it is looking dirty and worn. who knows it could be closed at any time. I am hoping it stays arund til our trip in July 2007...

And to add to the list fo special things:
Tours at wilderness lodge or animal kingdom lodge
afternoon tea at GF
Sunrise/Sunset safari at AKL if you are staying concierge
