Special Thanks to Grandma Pat at DLR Fantasy Land

This happened sometime ago, a year, but I've only just recently discovered DisBoards. I want to thank Grandma Pat, a Storybook Land ride operator at DLR, for making my fiances proposal so special.
Not only did she bring us out on our own ride boat and make a special stop in front on the mini Cinderella's Castle for the proposal, but afterward we were presented with free Minnie Mouse Bride ears and Mickey Mouse Top Hat ears(which are both quite expensive in the stores), bubbles, buttons and a little plastic glass slipper. And not only did she do that, but she then paraded us around Fantasy Land letting us cut in line on all the rides and quized us on some Disney Trivia for fast passes. It was truely an awesome trip, but that day and Grandma Pat were beyond any of our expectations.

I was talking to a cast member who now works at Walt Disney Travel Company. She used to be a Dreams cast member, and she was telling me about Grandma Pat, who does this on her own, and with her own money. It is so nice to hear how her special touch made your Disney experience that much more magical.
