Special Thanks To A Very generous family

Special Shout out to MickeysFriend's family.

The first night they helped me get through and after two hours of Disappointment I got it with 588 woot. I thought I was on a team and had waited for one person to get home only to find out they already had a full team.

But MickeysFriend's said she could get her family to help and with my family we did it. And at that time was thinking not to do the quest so it was an extremely generous act to have her family help me


Am I the only diser that got through with just two family playing each family huddle together in one room What was to be 30 minutes of close family time turned into 2 hours of my family about to muntiny (sausages rolls and pop help keep them going

But the big thing was they played yesterday too as a family with only Mickeysfriend getting the prizes for whole family to share.
Now that is special.


ihearvoices our expert sharp shooter played friday with hardly any sleep from having to work really late or early (not sure which)

Played and helped many get through for almost 12 hours straight. Without his keen ability to aim and not kill he was our team hero.

So he did this all and never once ask when his turn was. Now if some one deserve the gold star on VMK it is him.


And a special thank you to their boy who never played pirates and to played most of the time just moving his boat to be a great duck. He deserves a gold Star too.

We hear about the scams and selfish players well here are very generous players who gave their time and talent and never wanted or expected anything in return.

These are the stories I love to read. While this quest was certainly frustrating, and yes there have been some mean players out there in vmk land over the weekend, it is so nice to hear people helping each other out like this. I am also so thankful to my team (we look like smurfs in blue skin) and what they have and will continue to do till the end of this thing!
