**The Swan and Dolphin is offering a Summertime Hot special discount for teachers, and Education Support Staff.

This rate is for travel from 7/28/06 - 9/1/06 and must be booked by 2/28/06. This discount is based on hotel availability and not all dates are available.

Teacher and Education Support Staff Discount
Those that qualify under the teacher discount are the following:

All teachers and educational facility administrative personnel (includes colleges and universities) can take advantage of the TEACHER discounts. If you are a teacher with a certified teaching certificate, or you are employed in a school as an educational facility administrator you can take advantage of the TEACHER discounts.This would include teachers aides, substitute teachers, and administrative staff. These job types will require a Work ID or letter from supervisor on company letterhead stating employment or a recent Pay Stub.

Are you a home school teacher? If you have a certification for home school teaching from your state, then you also qualify for the discount.

Do you think PTO President would count? I feel like I'm at school so much, I should be getting a paycheck!

I just booked a 7-day Aug. stay at the Swan and got a $155/night rate! I called them and booked it directly with the hotel. Plus I have until 7 days prior to cancel and get my deposit back (just need to bring a govt. id, or paycheck stub or letterhead - my husband is a state govt. employee.)

All the websites I tried to get the govt. rate would it was $189/night for 3 of my 7 nights. Calling them directly, they said every night was the same rate!

I don't think a PTO president would qualify... sorry.

I booked August for $129. Nurse rate. Think it is teacher rate also. Soooo darn excited.

For the healthcare rate who do you have to be and what do you have to have to show it? I am a licensed Pharmacy Tech just looking for any discount I can get. Also is it a discount only for that person or that room and can you book a whole package or does it have to be a room only reservation?

I work as Building supervisor in a school , being one of the staff as i am empoloyed by the education board would i qualify for the discount
