Hi. Can anyone tell me the best way to contact the Santa Fe so we can request a certain room type? Also, how far in advance should we contact them ( we leave 5 weeks today WOOHOO ) Thanks.

I telephoned the Santa Fe (the hotel phone numbers are in the booking and contact information in the Very Useful information sticky on this forum ).
I phoned about 10 days before we were arriving, to ask for 2 adjoining rooms in a small block. The very nice CM knew exactly what I was looking for (he said "ah so you want very quiet rooms") and he said that would be no problem.

So they possibly take requests as to where you want to be?

cap'n - we asked for annie oakley block, as it was closer to the park lol also, its close to the main building, close to the buses, but nice and quiet (apart from 1 occassion of kids running and banging doors early hrs of the morning - but thats down to guests, not hotel).

also - annie oakley was nr the one carpark, and we asked for a specific room (lol) so we cud see the car, but also it was lookin over the grass, and close for transferrin luggage.... weve had the same room twice now
i phoned 2 wks before going to request if possible the block, and maybe the room, and they sorted it no probs!
