Our first cruise was on the Wish that was caught in a hurricane and kept out to sea, so the regular schedule wasn't followed. Is there usually a party or special events the last night of the cruise? Going on a 4-day HOTHS on the Magic this September.

There's "Til We Might Again" at 10:15ish PM where all the characters come out one last time for pictures. Is that what you meant?

Here’s Day 4 Activities for All Ages from a May cruise in the Wish.

I can’t remember anything like a deck party on any cruise, or any length, on the last night. Just Dream or Believe as the show in the Walt Disney Theater. And putting luggage in the hallway.

Thank you! This is what I wanted to know. The late-night character meet sounds like a perfect way to end the week.

Oh no this is my fear! Was the ocean very rough? What did you do the whole time you were on the ship? Did you get a refund?

I don't want to turn this thread towards another topic. Short answers: The captain did a great job sailing around the hurricane. We only had some wind and rain, nothing rough. We were on board 2 additional nights. Most things carried on normally (aside from the panic of trying to rearrange plans to fly back home). The cruise director worked hard at adding events, there were a lot of extra character meets. We were not charged for the extra nights.

They schedule more of the same stuff done in Sea Days: arts and crafts, trivia, movies, character meet and greets. The ship has an extra sailing’s worth of food, if I recall correctly. Would love to know if they do extra Palo Brunches…
