Special Occasion/Disney Gift Delivery to DVC/Disney Resorts?

Hi All.

Got a question. Our oldest daughter is getting married in May and staying on our points at BCV for her honeymoon. We would like to send a special Disney themed "wedding" welcome gift of some sort to the resort for them. Does anybody know if Disney offers any "special occasion" type gifts for weddings, anniversaries, etc, for delivery to the resorts?

We'll be onsite at the Boardwalk Villas next week if anyone has any ideas on where or how to go about ordering something like this.

One word of caution, if you use WDW Florist, make sure they deliver whatever you request. In Sept 2000 I sent a wine basket to a cast member (who is also DBF's cousin's wife) She never acknowledged receipt of it, so when we were visiting in 1/2001 I asked her about it and she said she never received it!!!!

I called WDW Florist and they promptly removed the charge, but it was a very embarassing situation for me.

Is your daughter getting married at Disney? If so, the wedding planner can take care of that. When my daughter got married there, one call to the planner took care of anything we wanted. She told us that anything can be done at Disney--all you need is the money to pay for it

She's getting married at home. Her grandfather (a minister) is performing the ceremony.

We would like to find a Disney themed cake topper for her wedding cake and decorations for the reception hall with some Disney touches. I am definitely going to investigate next week when we are at Disney.

P.S. We saw three weddings one year when we stayed at the Yacht Club (our room was next to the rose gazebo). Mickey and Minnie were in the weddings and a violinist played Disney classic tunes. We watched the weddings from our balcony!
