Special Meals at Hoop De Doo

We are going to Hoop de Doo on our trip in a few weeks and my husband is diabetic and my father in law doesn't eat fried foods. I've called disney dining and cannot get a straight answer as to what some of the options are. The only person who said anything worthy was that they can note "low sugar" and "low fat" on the two meals and I can call the restaurant itself to find out what they do. So she gave me the 'restaurant' phone number which was not at all that number but the disney dining general number again!

So, does anyone know what options are offered at Hoop De Doo for low sugar and low fat or any other options at all?

My husband is also diabetic. The waiter was great and asked
about what he could do. We asked for no barbecue sauce
on the ribs, and he got his own bucket. They also have
access to the trail's end buffet nextdoor, and can get you
food from there - at least that's what they've done for us
once upon a time in the past - but we were an earlier time.

If you post this on the Disabilities board, there are a lot of people there who know exactly who you should contact to make sure there are special meal options availabe.

Disney is usually very good with special diets.
Disney dining is not the place to call..they just make reservations.
You need to talk to the special dietary restrictions line.

I am diabetic and I called a few weeks ahead of time, and they got me no bbq sauce ribs, and grilled chicken. Hope this helps!
