What kind of Head Table at the reception did everyone do??

We went with the sweetheart table & I loved it! Everyone else sat at round tables around the room. We mixed up the bridal party with the family as there were only 2. I don't have pictures yet.

We did a sweetheart table too, and then if we wanted to hang out with anyone else we just got up and visited them. Of course, we had a very small group and probably couldn't have sat with more than 3 other people anyway, due to the Attic's small table sizes. But even if we'd been in a ballroom, I would have wanted a sweetheart table.

We have the "O" table and are doing a break at the top of the curve and having the sweetheart table for 2. I like this idea because we can share little secrets and giggles, but still feel close to the rest of the guests. We only have 30 people so, it will be easy to mingle with everyone during brunch.

We went with a sweetheart table on a riser. You can see it in the back of this picture. We went with the riser and the lighting effects to make it a focal point. It was nice because it was a good stage for the toasts and such, and people could swing by and say hi when getting drinks, but at the same time we had a little alone time during the hectic day. The other reason it is nice to do a sweetheart table is sometimes it is hard for the bridal party to split them from their dates and put them at a head table, or have some with dates and some without. I felt like we were able to give them a break and just have some time to enjoy themselves.
