My DS will be 13 -- almost 14 -- when we go this summer. DS hasn't been since he was 8 or 9.

Those of you who regularly visit the world with teens -- what are the favorite things your teen boys enjoy. Have no worries about the princess - she's 9!

Does he like video games? Disney Quest is pretty cool. But, my experience with my cousins and sisters friends that age have been that they don't act like "teens" when they're in Disney. I'm sure he'll have fun doing everything!

We go to WDW often & we travel with another family with a DS15. He enjoys Disneyquest & the waterparks.

disney quest and waterparks

My younger brother is 16, and last time we went he was almost 14.

I remember he liked:
Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin (MK)
DINOSAUR ride (MK)
Splash Mountain (MK)
the Jungle Cruise (MK)
Spaceship Earth (EP)
Haunted Mansion (MK)
the World Showcase (EP)
The Great Movie Ride (DHS)
Mission: SPACE (EP)
POTC (MK)

Some other things he might like are: Soarin' (EP), Rockin' Roller Coaster (DHS), Test Track (EP), Lights Motors Action Extreme Stunt Show (DHS), BTMR (MK), Studio Backlot Tour (DHS).

It really depends on what your son likes. My brother really doesn't like the "kiddie" stuff like Peter Pan's Flight (which is my favorite ride, and MK is my favorite kingdom). He's still a big kid though, and he relaxes once he actually gets to WDW, and he has a blast with us! There is stuff your son can enjoy in each kingdom.
Plus, remind him off all the awesome foods to try in EPCOT and turkey legs in MK!!

Disneyquest and waterparks.

A co-worker of DH' was asking him (as an experienced WDW visitor) what he thought her 17 yo son would enjoy during a visit in June. He told her waterparks. She said that her son wasn't much of a swimmer. DH laughed and told her that the point of the waterparks isn't so much the swimming as the eye candy, from a teen boy's POV. She got VERY indignant and insisted that she wasn't paying good money for THAT.
:rotfl2:

On our last trip my DS13 enjoyed eating at Sci-fi at DHS.
We also brought along his BFF and they had a great time.
His BFF loves to Draw and so we took several of the
learn how to draw a Disney Character lesson in DHS.
Also all the boys enjoyed the "Lights Motors Action" show at DHs.
Both boys enjoyed all the different rollercoasters.
They had fun tasting the different coke drinks from around the
world in Epcot cooling Station.
This upcoming trip we are looking forward to the
Kim Possible Spy Adventures where you will get a clue
and have to go thru WS in Epcot to solve the case.
We will also be taking the Behind the Seeds Tour at Epcot.
And ofcouse my DS loves to eat now that he's growing so
rapidly so we are on the Dining plan and eat at 1 TS restaurant
everyday--and he can order anything he feels like--he likes to
try new restaurants. Plus being able to order from the Adult Menu
he likes trying new things.
Last trip I also took the boys to DTD to explore and get
them a treat at Goofy Candy CO.--that was fun.
Both Boys also loved Pin Trading and had fun trading with
the CMs. Have a Fun Trip!

We will also be going to WDW this summer with two boys who will be 14, along with their sister. We are planning on going to the parks early (I hope) do the 'fun' stuff, then go to the water parks or DQ.
Does anyone know about the sea racers? I am thinking about this or what tour might they enjoy?
I am going to book 50's Prime Time Cafe, should be so funny and 1900 Park Fare, so they can meet the Step Sisters. I think both of these places will be so funny for them. We are also going to Jike for a 'grown up' meal.

Same that other have mentioned, go for Disney quest or rollercoaster. :thumbsup2 May you have a great time, have fun and enjoy.
