Special Events in December

We're planning a trip from December 3-8th. Not seeing a lot of availability of rooms. Does anyone know of anything going on during this time? We could move dates up to November. Just curious.

I believe that Pop Warner is during this time period.

Pop Warner gets VERY noisy at the values resorts, or at least it used to...I've heard that security has gotten better at keeping the noise level down, but I still avoid the values during that time bc of it.
I'm all about everyone having a great time at Disney, but I need at least a few hours of sleep lol!

Pop Warner can also overrun one or more of the mods, too. So just avoiding the values is no guarantee.

Thanks.What exactly is Pop Warner? How crazy will the parks be? We plan on staying at Contemporary so if we keep the December dates, looks like we'll be okay at this resort.
