special DVC promo 4 days 4 parks admission from 2014 questions

I'm not sure this is the right place to ask this, but I'll give it a shot. I have two sets of questions.

We bought the special DVC promo that was 4 days and 4 parks at the end of 2014. I received physical cards in the mail, then I attached them to the accounts that our magic bands are on. I used them to make our FP+ reservations, and when I check online they are all straight. However, I have since lost the physical cards. Will I still need those cards, or at least need to replace them, or since they are already attached to the accounts, are we ok?

We have considered adding another day to our trip. Ideally, we would add another MK day, but I'm afraid we'd have to effectively start over and just buy 1 day passes for everyone, which would seem to be ridiculously expensive. Is my understanding right, or is there something I haven't thought of that would allow us to add one more day a little more reasonably?

First, no, you don't need the cards as long as the tickets are linked to your account and you will have Magic Bands.

Those special tickets are not upgradable, except to an annual pass. There is no way to add a single day.
