Special Dream/Goals Trip with DD12

I'm planning a special trip to DL (next weekend) with just my oldest DD12. The purpose of the trip is to talk about dreams and goals; what better place to do that than Disneyland!

I plan on buying her a journal first thing that will serve as her workbook for now, and hopefully she'll continue using it for many years to come.

Has anyone done something similar? If so, I would love to hear experiences and any ideas out there for fun activities to keep the trip on task.

I made a journal for my DS7 to take with him on our trip to DLR. There were reflection questions, scavenger hunt items, things to draw or solve, etc. in it. He carried it with him during the trip and filled it out as we went along.

i love this idea such a great idea to have some mom and daughter time. I am going to have to remember this idea when DD turns 12.
