special christmas treats...any reviews?

I know because of the holidays each hotel has gingerbread houses, carousels, etc... I think I read that in some of the lobbies they give out/ sell cider, coccoa, cookies... I am sure there is holiday treats in the parks as well.

So does anyone have any info or reviews on holiday treats for me. Where should I make a special visit... oooh, there are chestnuts in the GF, right?!

The only place I saw treats being sold was at GF. Inside the gingerbread house was a CM selling cookies. We also checked out the decorations at WL, AKL, BC, Poly, POR, POFQ, but didn't see any other goodies being sold. Maybe I missed something....

We dont leave until Thur. so I can't give you a review of any treats but I did read that inside the America pavilion at Epcot there is a huge gingerbread house and inside it you can buy goodies to eat.

I would love to know more about this also. We have been for the holidays a few times, but have never seen anything other than the Gingerbread cookies at GF. I know they're offered, because I've read about others getting the treats. Our timing was obviously off. I would love to not only know what the treats are, but what time they're offered. Cider, cocoa, & chestnuts would be very festive. I don't usually check out the Resorts board, because we stay at FW in our RV. I'm wondering if anyone has posted any info. on this there.

Someone on these boards mentioned something aboiut sitting in the lobby of the GF on Christmas Eve sipping complimentary cognac or brandy while listening to the orchestra play Christmas music. Maybe the resorts do most of the "special treats" on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day?
