Special birthday cake for a 1 year old...

We have a breakfast ADR at 1900 Park Fare and a Dinner ADR at Crystal Palace on DD#2's 1st birthday.

I would like to order her a plain white cake with whipped cream frosting with winnie the pooh on it and a 1. Our ped doesn't allow peanuts etc until 2 so I want just a plain simple cake that would be appropriate for a 1 year old who isn't a big eater yet.

I think I would rather have it at dinner but I'm not sure where I am more likely to get a nicer cake.

Can you all point me in the right direction? Is this possible or can I only order a really fancy cake with fondant or a simple frozen cake which I really don't want. What should I expect it to cost? What is the smallest that they will make - I assume my 2 (almost 3) year old will want some too so I don't want to do an individual item.

When do I need to order it by - we leave in 37 days.

Do you want to order it from Disney or somewhere else?

Publix does beautiful cakes and some are very small (suitable for four maybe) and wicked cute.

Disney will make a special cake but I believe the smallest serves 10 (and trust me, it's huge).

You can get a smaller (than that) Mickey shaped cake at the Boardwalk bakery, but that's not delivered.

You'd do best to call Disney and speak directly with them.

The first post has the Cake FAQ. You would likely need to call the cake hotline (as you are not looking for a fancy cake with fondant) and describe what you want.

It looks like probably my only option for Crystal palace would be a sara lee cake?

So maybe I'm better having it at our breakfast at 1900 Park Fare and getting it from the Grand Floridian?

Does anyone know if the cakes you order at the crystal palace are nut free? Can they do a winnie the pooh and #1 on the cake if I get it at the CP?
