I was at a Halloween party tonight and someone knowing that I visit the "World" all the time stumped me with this question....The powdery soap in the Ladies room who makes it and is it available in stores anywhere for us to purchase? I could not answer it.. I know of the soap using it and liking it I just don't know who makes it and if it is available. HELP! ANYONE??????

I once asked this question about the hand soap at the resorts, I love the stuff and I was told that Disney has all the soaps specially made for them and they are not available for purchase.

I can't answer your questions, but the powdery soap in the rest rooms are a thing of the past. Sometime after September 11th, they switched to liquid soap. White powdered soap just wasn't a good idea after that.

Do they still make powdered Boraxo soap? I remember using that at my Grandma's house when I was a kid a million years ago.

I was there this past May and it was still in some of the restrooms. GAIL am I not mistaken that it is pink in color? Or was that at one of the casinos here in AC...umh not sure now. I do remember that not all the restrooms had it when they first started to use it.

I haven't seen the powdered soap at WDW since 9/11. I was never crazy about it, like liquid better.

as of this week ironically I have been checking the same topic. Restroom at Wide World of Sports, MK, AK, Studios, Epcot, Contemporary, Coronado Spgs and a few other all have liquid soap only ::yes::

It is pink liquid soap.

I hated that crappy powdered stuff. It wouldn't foam up and my hands never felt clean afterwards. The new liquid soap smells really nice and is much easier to wash with.

The powdered soap was pink, the liquid soap now is a light blue/green pearly white color, we had to go wash our hands again at 50's Prime time because we didn't know the color when our cousin asked us. After that, I paid attention everywhere, and I never saw anything different in the four parks or DTD. Can't comment on resorts or water parks, but the others I'm sure of. This was March, May, and August, so I suppose they could've changed since then.

I found that powdered soap very drying. I'm at WDW very often and I haven't seen it anywhere anymore. ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo
