Speaking of Twitter, who do you follow celebrity wise?

So for us on this board who do not have a clue about Twitter, can you answer a few questions?:rolleyes1

Does it cost to join? And you follow the tweeting on your computer, right?

It's all free. You sign up and look up people. I just use it to celebrity gawk.

I like Lance Armstrong...especially during the tour de france (like now!). Also Oprah, but she hasn't posted in a month. And Ausiello from entertainment weekly mag for TV scoops.

None. Don't have time to think or care about them. And its not like they are the ones doing the tweeting anyway. they pay people to do it. Its like advertising for them.

What's the address to her Twitter? PM me if you need to. I loved her on American Dreams (still one of my favourite tv shows ever) and in Hairspray and in that one episode of Law & Order Special Victims Unit (at least I think it was SVU, if not, Criminal Intent) where she was that crazy girl, and I try to keep up on news about her, but she still doesn't seem very mainstream yet.

Jake Tapper
Barry Gibb
Eddie Van Halen
Russell Brand (might drop him)
Dave Barry
Jon Favreau
William Shatner
Jimmy Fallon

I read the community board too, and I don't and won't Twitter, and what a dumb name that is "twitter" silly stuff. Anyway, at least on the boards, you can look at topics and decide what you want to read if it is a subject you are interested in, With Twitter why would I want to follow a celeb and his mundane activities, I have seen twitter links and they state stuff like Wow I am here in LA sitting next to so and so, Who cares. But that that is JMO

I think this is a misconception about Twitter that a lot of people have. Yes, I follow some celebs but I also follow various news outlets, astronauts who tweet from space and other cool and unusual people. You control who you follow and for how long. I follow for a time and then I will remove someone if they become boring or whatever interesting project they have comes to an end.

It is very easy to have a scathing attitude without actually investigating and exploring yourself.
