I'm not saying this applies to everyone, but we have friends that waited 7 years to have a baby. They became VERY set in their ways in those 7 years & parenthood has seemed rather difficult for them both. They are both used to doing their own thing, when they want to & now they do alot of "it's your turn" type things. They once argued over whose turn it was to change the diaper. I got ready to say "give me the @*%# diaper & I'll change him" Geez, what's the big deal. With Dh & me, it was whoever was holding the baby at the time that changed the diaper.
